Who loves to save money? Everyone right. Well do you know whats better than saving money. Getting paid cash back on the items you buy. I was introduced to an app that actually works. I have been able to make money back every time I’ve went to a store since I downloaded and started using this app.  I have also been able to have my money earned back deposited into my Paypal account with absolutely no hassle. So do you want to know what app I am talking about? It is called Ibotta. It is free to download onto your smartphone and free to use. This is how it works.
First of course you need to sign up which is very simple. Just give some basic info about yourself and your Paypal email where you want your money sent. For online shopping after signing up, you go through all of their online shopping opportunities and unlock the rebate by doing a simple task. When I say simple I mean simple. It’s not like some sites where they say you can get $ back for doing a “simple” task and it ends up taking you 20 minutes to do one thing. With Ibotta the way you unlock rebates can be watching a 15-30 SECOND video, looking at a recipe, learning a fact or answering a multiple choice question. You never leave the app so your not sent to all these crazy sites trying to get you to sign up for this or that. There no hassle. After you unlock the rebate you want to use press the shop now button on that rebate and you will be taken to the site your shopping at. After shopping your purchase is verified within 5 days and the money is deposited within two weeks.
For shopping in stores after signing up and unlocking the rebate(s) your going to use go to said store and shop. I usually have several different rebates to use because they have grocery items such as milk, eggs, bread etc. If your not sure if an item qualifies for the rebate simply scan the product while in store and it will tell if id does or doesn’t. Make sure you read if you have to buy more than one of the same item or not before checking out. After shopping and paying for your things make sure to keep your receipt. Scan the products that go with the rebate and then scan your receipt. Your receipt will be verified and your money will be deposited into your account within 48 hours.
Another awesome perk with this app is that you can connect with your friends on facebook and make a team. Your team can reach monthly levels which will give you bonuses. You can also reach bonuses yourself depending on how much you shop with their app and what brands you shop for. You can also achieve goals such as the bookworm for learning a set amount of facts about products or the Paypal star for getting money sent to your Paypal. So even if you don’t shop all the time you can use this app to get cash back.
